Catfish
Bay is a 22-acre recreational ski park located on the outskirts
of Sioux Falls. It is owned and operated by the Sioux Falls Water
Ski Club, which hosts weekly waterskiing shows throughout the summer.
These shows include human pyramids, jumps, barefoot skiing, ballet,
lifts, and other thrilling events. A concession area, bleachers,
and picnic area are available for warm-weather family fun.

more than 180 retail shops and restaurants, the area's largest shopping
center attracts visitors from eastern South Dakota, southwestern
Minnesota, northwestern Iowa, and parts of Nebraska. The Empire
estimates that 14 million shoppers visit the center each year to
experience what many consider to be the best shopping between Denver
and Minneapolis. Located just east of I-29, Empire is within walking
distance of several hotels and restaurants.

Great Plains Zoo

In
the heart of the city, the Great Plains Zoo exhibits over 70 species
and nearly 400 animals from around the world. The 45-acre site includes
the Penguin Pool, the Primate Complex, the Australian Outback, the
Birds of Prey Island, the Children's Zoo, Asian Cat Habitat and
more. These exhibits feature open terrain viewing of animals in
simulated natural habitats.

seven days a week beginning at 11 a.m., and covering more than 50
acres, Wild Water West is South Dakota's largest amusement and water
park. Located just outside of Sioux Falls, the park features - in
addition to water activities - new, Indy and stock car style go-carts;
19-hole miniature golf; a bating cage complex; bumper boats; and
much more.
